Grab your ankles and take it like a man. They'll basically go through the proceedings. Depending on how good your lawyer is, it can go on for days. IF you are found guilty (which, from what you're saying, you are when you asked if you're going to jail or probation), there will be a sentencing hearing at a later date.
If I were you, I'd plea guilty in exchange for a lenient sentence like probation or community service.

I'm no lawyer, but I don't believe you'll go to jail. Probably some probation, fines, and/or community service.

communtiy service, $$$$, probation, and maybe loose license.maybe one or all of the above. depends on the mood the judge is in. dress to impress. basically an expensive slap on the wrist. good luck

Was it in a car or on a motorcycle. If motorcycle, tell the court that the mirrors on the bike have very limited field of view and you didn't see the cop. Trust me, that works!!

Probation and ask for community service and possibly a fine for the cops stupidity! God are they dumb. Don't worry hun, just ask for community service.

Through yourself on the mercy of the court, be sincerre and humble yourself....you might get a lighter sentence than you would if you came in trying to be tough...
