Where are you located? And do you own a home? And last but not least, are you sure your credit score is bad? A lot of times people don't really know what their credit score is.

Such "loan" companies are a dime a dozen.....and a shameful con game, preying on those seeking that all important "credit score", which I think itself is a sham!

"Loan companies" offering services to those with bad credit don't disclose their stratospherically HIGH lend rates. And these companies really want you to fail on paying the loan---so they can legally grab your home, car and any other sellable property....and reap in a windfall profit on what YOU LOSE.

Want to improve your credit score? See a credit counselor: they offer free services and they really can help. Accept the fact a rebuild to a higher score is NO fast easy fix; it takes years and staying as close to debt free as possible. You have to establish a documented record of well done management of your debts and spending habits. Eventually, once that's done, you should see some credit score improvements.

Each year, services like Equifax, by law are supposed to show you the current "credit score". Keep an focused eye on that while you work at raising that score. Good luck.
