I don't know anything about computers. =[

My dad just got a Pocket PC (an older version) and it has a slot for extra memory cards. I was wondering what memory card I should get for him.

Sorry if my question is unclear. I really really suck with any technology stuff.

Thanks for any help.

Have a great day!

Holy spit I didn't expect so many answers. Y'all are great.

I'm looking at the phone and it doesn't say what kind of make or model it is? All it says on the box is it's a TMobile Pocket PC Phone Edition. I tried sticking a SD card in but for some reason it won't stay in? What am I doing wrong?

Oh Lord, I hope I didn't mess up the phone sticking in the wrong card.

Thanks for all of y'all who already answered. I really appreciate it.

Well theres SD, Mini-SD and micro-SD. SD came out first, so, if its an older one and definitley SD (Secure Digital) its probably a regular SD card. You are lucky...they are dropping in price and jumping in size.
Heres a list of SD cards from TigerDirect...

If you aren't sure that it is SD, try searching with the make and model number for some sort of description or documentation.

Which Model, which manufacturer?

To be safe, sneak (or ask to borrow) a memory card he already has...take it to the electronics shop, and ask to see other ones like it.

R u asking what brand? Don't matter.
Size? 256mb are dirt cheap and will hold more than enough info/programs for any older pockpc.

he can probably use any make SD card. The sizes he can use would be anywhere from 128mb to 1gb cards. It's your choice. I have this one for my PDA(HP iPAQ RX1955)
