I was shocked...whats going on there? can someone tell me what happened on that episode?

Ava has, apparently, been sleeping with Adrian, her 'son', since he was 12. That's why he was so upset with her and Matt's relationship - she stopped sleeping with him after she started dating Matt.
It turns out later, however, that Ava isn't actually Adrian's mom. Ava is actually a transsexual - and thus, actually a man. She's one surgery away from being a full woman - but presumably she looks like a woman enough to fool both Matt and Adrian, cuz neither of them knew this. Adrian is actually the son of Ava's ex-boyfriend, who was the plastic surgeon who did her transsexual surgeries.

So, *spoiler warning*:
He is not really her son. Because AVA is really a transexual. Her ex-husband was also the doctor that did her sexual reassignment surgery, and Adrian was HIS son. So basically, she adopted him and she uses sex to keep him in line. Oh, Nip/Tuck, gotta love ya.

Well, she claimed he was adopted. I take it they've been having a relationship. Gross, I know. I guess I didn't see the episode where it was revealed she used to be a man. I hate that lady!

yes it was disturbing. apparently they had an ongoing relationship.she said she was trying to comfort him when he was sick, but he said she had actual "relationships" with him. she then said to him that he wasn't her real son...he was adopted or something. the whole nip tuck thing is disturbing and shocking to me.

She has some weird kinky relationship with him.Also i guess he's gay since he tried to kiss Matt.It's just one big gay fest....
