1-888-698-6892 That is the number you would call to get AOL so i would start there. As far as getting rid of AOL what exactly do you mean? Do you just have one of those stupid desktop icons or do you actually have AOL software installed. For the icon, right click it and go to properties. Find out where the icon is stored at on the computer, go find it and delete it. If there is AOL software on your comp look in the add/remove programs under control panel. This is of course assuming that you are running a windows OS. Good luck.

are you insane?
aol is www.aol.com as a rule.
search the site for help on how to terminate your account and cancel any paid services you may have.
click help on the home page and you should be able to find the information you need.
as for removing the aol browser software from your computer, you would need to open control panel and click add remove programs, and locate aol and select remove/uninstall.

They will do anything and everything they can to get you not to cancel. And they will be VERY pushy.
Good luck!

Be prepared when you call them to cancel, they'll offer you some free months. But if you don't push it with them, they'll keep piling on the free stuff. My sister has been stuck with them for 5 years cuz they keep giving her free stuff.
