Or should I contact them? I really want this job. Thanks in advance for the advice!

Send them a thank you note (written) for the interview.

It is not unusual for it to take a month or more if there are other candidates and if drug tests or background checks are involved.

You should contact them if you REALLY want this job. They might receive tons of resumes every day and they wouldn't contact you if they think that you are not the type of person they would want to hire. However, you can always try to give them a call. You got nothing to lose!

I would wait 3 days to a week.. call them back and see whether or not you were selected for the position you applied for. If they say no, you could ask if there was anything else available.. and work your way up to the position that you really want. I had done that..twice.
Best of luck to you!

Did they indicate the timing? If I were you, I'd follow-up with a thank you letter to the interviewer and wait until Thursday and make a follow-up call. During the call ask them when do they expect to make a decision.

Yeah, call them and politely ask if they have chosen the person for the job. Let them know you are still interested, and that you are looking forward to the opportunity to exceed their expectations.

If they didn't choose you, ask to speak to the person who made the decision, and find out why you were not picked. Ask them if they have any constructive advice for you for next time. Also, tell them to keep you in mind for future positions. Thank them for their time.

A company might receive dozens or even hundreds of resumes. Often, they do not respond to everybody - only the people they want to interview.

But even this can take a few weeks....you might even get a call later than that. As for contacting them, I don't advise you do it. Its just annoying to them.

You contact them. YOU are the one who wants the job.

Wait a week and call them.
