Don't buy it off Ebay. You can get it with the 2006 Starter deck at Wal-Mart. Its about $20 and includes an alternate art Elemental Hero Sparkman as well as the instructional DVD. The DVD is no substitute for the rule book. Also, I advise going to a card shop and asking for help. You can get your questions answered and play a few games.
