disability for nerve damage in back?

i have had pain for years i was wanting to try to get on ssi? do you think i can get disabity for that?

This is the law for musculoskeletal disabilities. You can do most of this stuff yourself without an attorney until you get to the Hearing. Appeal your denials. Complete all paperwork and return timely.

I had spine surgery where they put rods & screw into my back. I also have Lupus & am a diabetic & take 2 shots a day. Yeah, I finally got it but you know how much all my pain is worth ?
A lousy $160. a month !!
What I had to go through with the 3rd degree from the State & had to go have interviews with a shrink & dr.'s & filled out paper after paper.

You can if you have enough points to qualify for social security and they determine whether or not you can still work. the best person to consult is a lawyer who specializes in disability cases. People who try on their own are almost always denyed.

depends on how limited youare. I have degenerative disc disease and it took me 4 years 2 denials and a meeting with a judge with a lawyer to get approved.Good Luck

If you have medical history to back it up and a doctor who will go along with you on it, I dont see why not, but you never know what the government will do. Good luck.

you might try have all the records medical and drs that have seen you and fill out the papers you will probley be seen by their drs two and it can take from 6 months to one year.
