Absolutely. I get disillusioned with this by the minute.
I was able to help a few people with technical questions, but majority of the questions seem to be asked and answered by the 12 year old types who type faster than they think and sometimes ask/answer just to get some attention. When million(s) of them does it simultaneously, it creates giant "white noise" effect that makes this whole experiment a total turn off for the visitors with actual experience and expertise.

depends on opinion I think. I'm 32.
I asked a question one time and got a 1000 (approx.) word complaint of my placement of the word "often". According to the "professor", the way I used the word made my entire question irrelevant.
Must have been an English teacher or maybe just an a- hole or both. The rest of the people who answered understood my question enough to form good answers, either that or they were as stupid as me.
I could do without word nazi's.

Yeah, same here. I'm in my fifties and I've become very disgruntled by the nature of the questions and much of the subject matter. I virtually stayed away for several months but recently came back. I'm currently reconsidering that decision.

There's been a few that seemed to be in a completely different language, and most of them don't really have any educational value. But on the upside - the answers people come up with are interesting!!

Yeah, I think there should be separate forums as follows:
1) Children
2) Tweeners
3) Teens
4) Adults
Maybe there should be a separate category for morons, too....

Well don't answer crappy questions.
Don't ask them either.
Kids want to talk. Here is your chance to shine your wisdom on them.
