Often the best way to deal with anxiety is to be prepared for the situations you will face. You probably want to find a job where the tasks and situations are relatively predictable, so there is less to worry about.

If you have recently started your job, a little bit of anxiety is normal. If you are established and the amount of anxiety is severe or increasing without a cause.

It may be that you need some sort of counseling to help you deal with your anxiety. You might try consulting with clergy and asking for a referral to a therapist if they are not able to help you enough.
