What is AMD doing to compete with Intel's new Core 2 Duo Chips?

Well, they recently bought ATI to get more strength in graphics.

But AMD doesn't really have to do anything to compete, because Intel's Core 2 Duo was *their* attempt to compete with AMD. AMD will probably release some higher clock speed Athlons, but their product line is pretty set for the time being.
