Yes, if you get hurt while at work or on compant time, then yes, you need to report it immediately if possible. They will or should most likely send you to an Industrial Health Clinic to be checked out by a doctor. I believe that you can also report a day or so, but not advised. Do it as soon as possible. If you do not soon and wait then try to do it, it may not look good and they may contest it. Especially if you are trying to file a claim for benefits they may dispute it and then it will go back and forth between state benefits and workers comp. Then no one pays benefits until it is resolved...big mess. trust me. better to be upfront right away and be honest. Hope that this helps you. I have been down this road with my family and it sucks.

When posting a ? u r suppose to give a ?. I have never heard of a work.com claim, however I have heard of a workman's compensation claim. Now u r asking if u get hurt at work and u file saying u got hurt. U need to go to the doctor for that injury for the claim to be valid. Maybe that's the ? they want u to go for. U do not have a valid claim if u didn't go to the doctor.
So in plain english, not this netspeak laziness in which you have asked your question, suck it up and go back to work, you were not hurt that bad and work your a** off like the rest of us instead of trying to get the free money because it isn't going to happen.

You must be a blond.... Your employer should have told you about workers comp. when you are hired,, some do, some don't If you are working for a big company they usually give a hand book with all of this information in it. This also goes by according to state laws I think but i could be wrong so before doing anything stupid>>>>>>>>>>>ask your employer..>>>>>>>>> If you do get hurt on the job.. and was under the influence if anything illegial or prescription hard drugs...you better hope and pray they don't send you for a pee test because you are screwed

You're not making sense. You file a Worker's Compensation claim. Don't let them tell you anything differently. If you get hurt on the job, and it's the job's fault, then they are responsible. If you get hurt and you were under the influence of drugs/alcohol or were screwing around with something you had no business messing with, your claim will be denied and you could be fired.

Your question didn't make alot of sense...but if you are hurt at work, and have to get medical attention, yes, you should file it under workers' comp. And for example, if you go to the ER and do not put it under workers comp...and then have to go back for additional treatment, you can not change it at that time back to workers' comp. At least you can't at the hospital where I work.

I don't understand what you're asking but...
You should fill out an accident report, go to urgent care or the emergency room, and then if you are hurt badly enough.. sue the bullshit corporation. :D

Workmens Comp is for when you cannot work because you are injured. If you are still working you can't get it. If you can't work then apply for it.
