I think we should stay out of it. Like you said, we're already in a war, and since it's between them, and doesn't have much to do with us, we should stay out of it. Especially if we're uninvited.

It doesn't really matter what John Kerry says. Give him five minutes and he will change his mind or say he never said it in the first place.

I say let Israel & Hezballah settle their own problems because if we go in the rest of the world will yell that we are trying to rule the world. Of coarse if we don't then the world will yell that we should have done something. A wonderful predicument.

I say we stay WAY WAY out of it. We can't possibly bring any positive result in this ages old conflict. Let Israel and Lebanon fight it out - or let the UN send in a multnational "peacekeeping" force that doesn't involve us.

I've heard this force will be led by the French which lends itself to a dozen other joke possibilities.

But I digress...

Kerry, like every other politician, is at heart a Monday Morning Quarterback and poor one at that.

Was he that boring guy with a lot of $$$$ and a really big nose that ran for President a while back?
I think we need to send in some serious hit men, not the army.
Those people are freaking stupid. Lebanon should have kicked Hezballah's butt! That is like us letting a bunch of punk gangsters
to shoot rockets into Mexico..STUPID.
Swift and accurate intervention, nothing else.

in the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most merciful!

Surah23 verse#112to 118: the believers( AL_ QURAN).
#112. ( QUESTIONED BY ALMIGHTY LORD; the non believers)

He will say; '' what number of years did you stay on earth?''

#113. they will say; '' we stayed a day or part of a day; but ask those who keep account.#114.He will say:'' you stayed not but a little, if you had only known!''

# 115. ''did you then think that we had created you in jest, and that you would not be brought back to us( for account)?''#116.therefore exalted be ALLAH, the King , the reality; thereis no good but he, the lord of the throne of the Honor!#117. if any one invokes, beises Allah, any other god, he has no authority therefore; and his reckoning wil be only with his lord! and verily the UNBELIEVERS will fail to win through!''#1!*. so say,'' o my lord! you grant forgiveness and mercy! for you are the best of those who show mercy!"

That's why Kerry lost the election. Because the public knew he wasn't fully committed to Peace the way Jesus (our Saviour) would want us to be.

If we do fight, I think we should outsource and off-shore the fighting force. Can't we get the Indians or the Chinese to do it for 10 cents on a dollar?

I agree with you on this matter. Basically everything that comes out of John Kerry's mouth is bull**** that is intended to elevate public opinion of him.

I totally agree. I say we sit back and let the pieces fall where they may. I don't even want us to send Condi back over there. It's too dangerous and besides, like you said, we have other things to worry about.
