Oh yes, bass adore leeches. I just got back from a fishing trip last week, and we used leeches and bobbers to catch some great fish. The second day we were out, we caught eight 6-pound smallmouth bass in about an hour.

They eat leeches, and they do love them so.

Yes they certainly do and as the poster above me mentioned, they not only eat them, but it is one of thier preferred foods and is excellent when used as bait. When I lived at a hunting camp here in Northern Canada, we had a leech problem where we went swimming, so we went and caught a bunch of Bass and set them loose near the beach...needless to say we had no more leech problem!!

yes and if you use a jig head and put the leeches on the end usually hot pink or white you are going to have a frenzy. It's my favorite way to catch them.
