I know how you feel, I was also worried about getting mine done, for many years, but I decided on the spur of the moment, and went and got it done. If the technician is caring and considerate to your fears, believe me, it doesnt hurt a bit, I am sure you have had injections at one time or another, and having your ears pierced is nothing like that. I believe now that they put some spray on your lobe that actually makes it cold or at least thats what the girl did that did mine, and she was quick it was all over before I knew she had even done it. I had sleepers put in mine immediately so they were easy to turn and keep clean then I went to the studs. Tell the people, ( as please have them done at a reputable place) your a bit nervous and they will take that into consideration. Please keep them clean and treat them with the lotion they provide after having them done. Go on, do it when you are ready. Good Luck

Well, they use a gun to put the earring you choose into your ear.
It does hurt at first, but not for long. Your ears will be sore for
a while, but if you keep then clean with alcohol & peroxide so
the wound will heal, then you'll have no problems. You must
leave the earring in - I believe a few weeks, until the hole is made
and then you can take it out & use whatever earrings you like.
I have 2 holes. It's the fashionable thing to do. you wear the
smaller earring in the back & the bigger one in the front.
I like this, you can really look nice. I usually use my diamond
earrings in the back & then what ever color I am wearing in the
front. Try it! :)

It is a quick sharp pinch and then burns a bit after it is over. It is not bad at all. I was so afraid when I went to get my ears pierced when I was little but it did not hurt very bad or very long at all.

it will hurt a bit, but the pain is not unbearable! just think of all the cute earrings u will be able to wear afterwards! after u get them pierced, u just have to be sure to take good care of them and clean and rotate the earrings. Do it, u wont be sorry, it is worth the little bit of pain!

It will hurt but not that bad!! It's a quick pinch. It doesn't hurt as much as you think it may, but it still hurts a little bit, but it's over in a heart beat! I know, because I had mine done!! You just have to get the second done quickly! But you'll do fine!

No. You feel a pinch for like 1 second.
I pierced my own ears 3 times.

Slight pinch during the piercing and slight soreness afterwards. Just make sure you rotate your earrings and apply the stuff they give you so that the piercings fon't get infected. If they do, then you will be hurting.

I had my ears pierced 3 times in my lifetime including the ones I had to get surgically removed..All you feel is a slight pinch --something like getting bloodwork done and you are done

It "pinches". I had good luck at "Claire's". They pierce your ear with the studs that will stay in by using a piercing "gun." It's quick and only hurts for a second or two.
