Yes, on my honeymoon. The guy watching our house for 3 weeks let his dog roam around the house. It peed and pooed everywhere and he didnt clean it. The man also let his girlfriend and her son sleep there without our permission. All my tv shows I had recording werent recorded. They also, for some strange reason, rearraged my boxes of photos, and piled them all into one box. My magazines were taken from under my bed and stacked in a pile next to my bed. The food in the fridge gone. The first night my husband and I got home, we spent 4 hours cleaning, shampooing the carpet, lysoling the beds (the womans son has MENINGITIS!!!) throwing away garbage. So yes, we were very tired the next day at work.

Yeah, time changes and ticket counters and security clearances and loooooonnnng flights and waiting for your damn luggage and waiting for the shuttle and taking the shuttle to the cheaper parking lot and trying to find your car and loading it up and fighting the traffic home and fumbling for your keys in the dark and getting everyone inside and bringing the luggage in and going to bed tossing and turning because your body is used to the time change kinda does make one a wee bit tired...

(Phew, run-on sentence galore.)

I think that happens to everyone. Vacations are always jam packed with lots of fun things to do and traveling whether by car, plane, or train is exhausting.

That always happens. Like hte speaker at my retreat said, you go to a retreat to relax, but you end up being more tired than before.
