Novel - "Two for the Dough" by Janet Evanovich. The whole series is good but I liked this one the best

Autobiography - "My American Journey" by Colin Powell

Parenting book - "The Read-Aloud Handbook" by Jim Trelease

Yes, Minister - The excerpts. It's a fiction book based on a popular British comedy of the same title.

I have read it about 8 times and intend to read again next month.

Go check it out if you want a feel of typical British humor.

Don't know if it is my "Favorite" read, but it sure changed the way I view the world. Actually took the time to research the sources sited in the bibliography... eye-opening!

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley because it really made you think about how much control is too much control and in the end no amount of control will make a perfect world.
