No, they were not over-rated. You probably just are too young to even be asking this question! I grew up with the Beatles. I have most of their albums. I could still sit and listen to every song they recorded and it will bring me back to a time and place. I was in love with Paul and Ringo. LOL!
Over-rated? Nope! They were and still are the best band ever!

The thing with the Beatles is they were the first. They set the bar and so many bands have come along since then and set the standards higher and higher.
