Have you tried The Clique series? It's exactly what you're describing. I love that series! I have all 5 books! Massie is my total favorite!! You could also try the Gossip Girl series and almost anything by Meg Cabot.

I say you will Love this book The Proud Breed by Celeste De Blasis 1978. A classic saga of a three generational family of pre-
america california. I've read it many time times only to be moved at each reading a wonderfully written story if you like dramas you'll like this as well try it you have nothing to lose.

I don't read books like those but "The Devil Wear Parda" was a good book. You can always ask the librarian for suggestions. At my library They have a section for new books and there are a bunch of books like the ones you are interested in.

Well, you should read all of Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. It's funny and great from page one, you don't have to read forever to get into them. Funny granny with a gun, sexy boyfriend(s) and an ex-prostitute name Lula! It doesn't get any better than that!

Start with ONE FOR THE MONEY and trust me you will be hooked.

Look up on google.com to find your local libraries web site. Then use their ecatalog to find topics you like and this will bring up a whole slew of books that you will enjoy.

Then you'll probably enjoy THE PRINCESS DIARIES series...they're awesome and hard to put down...i highly recommend it....
