It depends on if you have good health care. If you don't have insurance it can be very costly. My ob fee is 3,000, lab work, ultra sounds, hospital fees.....etc.

Yes & No. It really depend on what you want for your baby n yourself. For example, if you want to take bird nest very day then it will cost you a bomb. However, if you choose to take normal food such as drinking of soya bean drink to gain calcium then i think there should not be a problem. If you were pregnant now, you start collecting old but still usable baby clothes, pram, car seats, baby bed etc. from your relatives or friends. Do your homework by comparing the charges from difference Doc as well as hospital. But most importantly, NEVER NEVER STRESS YOURSELF! You can try talking to those mothers they will have a lot of things to share with you.

This is tough to answer without knowing whether you have insurance or some form of government health assistance. If you have to pay for everything yourself, then, yes, it is expensive. Sonograms, blood tests, the hospital, possible anesthesiologist, etc. can cost quite a lot of money. If you are already pregnant or trying to get pregnant, try talking to your OB/gyn. Perhaps they know of some kind of financial assistance in your area that could help alleviate the costs.

Yes being pregnant can be very expensive. You have to buy prenatal vitamins each month, pay at least one co-pay(according to your insurance) and then you have to prepair yourself for the arrival of the baby itself. Getting the crib and clothes and bottles...I mean the list goes on and on!!!

Yes it is expensive. Health care for anything is expensive.
Now if you are in the military or married to a soldier then it is FREE...a benefit of being a part of the military world.

Yes... and even more after the baby is born. Think doctor visits, diapers, clothes.... but worth it in the end, you are given a new life.
