Yes ofcourse, see i am a collector.I mean this is my hobby,to collect coines, notes and stamps,.i also have such type of stamps and even the silver dollar even more older than the one u have, but i don't want to sell it and i can sell it for a very good rate, people are villing to buy it but i am not agree. So these which u r having is quite valuable, but to find out more,u should go to the musium,or even the central bank,in your country, the gold shop and even the shop where they buy and sell silver, these are the best places to get even good rates, please do try them out,i have been doing this as a busuness and it did work out at least. They will tell u the cost of it,according to the present silver rate.Another way is also u can keep ADD in the daily news paper as AUCTION,it is also a best idea,i sometimes do that and i find quite a lot of customers. Please try it out.

The best place to start for the stamps is http://www.virtualstampclub.com/inherit.html - it doesn't matter if you actually inherited the stamps or got them some other way. I have no ides about the coin - sorry.
