The tap water is perfectly fine to drink. It is sterile and safe, this is America and there are standards. It just doesn't taste well. The water is CAP water, which means it is brought in from the Colorado river and has been chlorinated to remain safe. So it tastes pretty bad but is safe.

We are not Little House on the Prairie. The water is very good here and for gosh sakes you don't have to boil it. Have you heard how hot it is here? Mother Nature boils it in the pipes for you...:)

The comments about Australia are loopy. They easily were initially a Gun Nut united states of america and protested at the same time as their authorities wanted to take them away. even if, they have not had a mass capturing considering that 1992 as a outcome and the Australians (even those who protested) will now allow you to recognize they experience significantly better secure. as well, no longer all guns were taken away; human beings nonetheless have searching rifles and if a foul guy or boogie guy broke into your position, you need to nonetheless be able to do countless damage with a searching rifle. My aspect - do we somewhat choose each and every American to have get entry to to gadget guns and sniper rifles? can't we restriction particular gun get entry to and easily make hand guns and searching rifles obtainable? merely putting forward.

Of course it's safe to drink; however, I find it tastes like too much chlorine so we use a filter that attaches to the faucet and that takes care of the taste and anything else.

I don't know but I think by the law, if the city water is not safe enough to drink they won't let public use it.
