Actually iPods and other trendy electronics cost much more in the Phils than in the US. A low-end iPod Shuffle costs P4900 plus tax there. In the US you can get it for $59 and you can get a sale/rebate doscount to bring it down to $49, sometimes tax-free. An iPod Nano 4GB costs $229 here, with tax included. How much does it cost over there? Anybody?

I'm not sure of the price there in the Philippines, but one thing i'm sure, it's cheaper to buy in Singpore, HK or Dubai. So, if you got friends or relatives on these countries, just ask them to buy for you.
