Score Crawford out 4-6 at second base. Score the run and give Cantu the RBI. Cantu reaches first on a fielder's choice (no error if he stops at first, one can "never assume the double play"). If Cantu is able to advance beyond first, score THAT as an error on Young.

There was no error on the play by Dmitri Young, the error was given to the shortstop on the throw, and there also was no error on Young because you can't assume a double play. The scoring would go on the scorecard as 4-6 E-6

Fielders choice & RBI to Cantu. You can not assume the double play and give an error unless Cantu advanced to second base on the throw.

from what you explained here, it seems quite impossible. Young makes a throwing error to where? How does young manage to make a throwing and catching error on the same play if the ball was originally hit 2 Placido Palanco. Please explaing better, i can help!!!

Fielder's choice and an RBI. No error because you can't assume the double play.

i would score it fielders choice, since you cannot anticipate a double play--so FC 4-6---run scores how can Young have the throwing anderror and the missed catch--that confuses me
