Usually all babies heartbeats are faster (150s-170s) in the earlier weeks and it eventually slows down as it matures so if you hear the heart beat at one of your first check upst doesn't mean anything.

The idea is if the baby's heart beat is between 110-140 bpm it will be a boy and if it's over 140bpm it's a girl.

I always went by that until I had a lady that had 5 girls already and really was hoping the baby that was about to be delivered was her boy. Everything about that little heartbeat suggested boy. It was between 110-125 the whole time she was in labour and she kept saying how different this pregnancy was from the last 5.
Well as I'm sure you can now guess when the little one finally decided to come we all had to shout "It's a girl!!"

Obviously you can never tell with the heart beat.

Guessing by fetal heart rate is never correct. Neither is that ring on a string thing. After having 3 boys & 2 girls, now pregnant again with twin boys...

The only true ways to find out gender in pregnancy is either by ultrasound findings, or if you've had an amnio with chromosomal testing.

The only way to tell is a clear shot on a sonogram or a dna test on the fluid in the fetal sac. The sonogram is usually done around 20 weeks. The other test is invasive and expensive, and not routinely done. I carried girls like boys and boys like girls. Fetal heartbeat is very, very, hit or miss. (you have a 50/50 chance of being right). There are many wives tales out there as to how one can determine the sex of their unborn child... but they are just wives tales.

Don't go by any old wive's tales...the best way to find out is by ultrasound or amniocentesis. Also with amniocentesis it can tell you how your baby is doing...such as birth defects and the development of their lungs!! Good luck and congrats on the baby!!

No the guts price has not anything to do with the intercourse of the child. I had plenty of individuals inform me the equal factor. But it used to be all fake. I additionally had individuals say that my stomach used to be low and that supposed I used to be having a boy. But I actually had a lady. So you get what I am pronouncing. Good good fortune even though!
