I am asuming that you are a teen, like me, so I am going to give you the list of these awesome, they are fun books, teen books usually arent hard to read and are enjoyable, youll find yourself staying up all night reading one.

Try The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants series by Ann Brashares. Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. (the best teen book of all time! loved it!!!!) Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson. 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson. The Secret Year of Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty. The TTYL Series by Lauren Myracle.

Those are my ALLTIME favorite teen books. Take it from a book worm. By the way start with Stargirl, then the Sisterhood Series, then the rest of the list. And if you really dont like the reading thing then tell your friends how you feel about it when they talk about books and how you tried to fit in with it and stuff , they should understand. If you dont feel like buying the books a few are at the library. And if you dont want to pay full price try amazon.com or barnes & nobles used books, trust me they are just like new for cheap prices. Good Luck! I really do hope I helped!

P.S. If you need any book help or what to read next email me a mizjss_2130@yahoo.com

See if your friends would be interested in starting a book club and suggest a book that you are interested in as the first book. I find that I am usually more motivated to read a book when I have someone holding me accountable and someone that I can discuss it with, such as fellow classmates or friends. It's also sometimes fun to read a book that has been turned into a movie, like "The Devil Wears Prada."

Try to dinf books about things that interest you - sports, music, whatever you like. Start slowly with smaller bookos. Take your time and try to imagine the things the author is saying in your head.

A good way to start is by getting the book of a movie you have seen and liked. Compare your mental images with the movie. Which was better - the movie or the book? Why? What things did the author do to put images in your head?

To me, Steven King is amazing at mind-imagery. Unfortunately, most directors struggle to translate that to the movie screen. When they do it well, we get movies like Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile and Stand By Me.
