Is it just me, or do women give their men a really hard time? Always getting on to us about small things, always upset about something.

C'mon - we're mostly good guys, we work hard for you, and we love our women. So why do you give us such a hard time about everything?

A man has the right to drink with his buddies and go to the gym from time to time!

They are afraid that these habits will get worse, and that will adversely affect their lives. Women often tend to plan their lives around their men, and any time they can see that their man isn't doing the same for them, they start to feel used. Sometimes, when a guy stops on the way home to do other things, she feels like he isn't really anxious to see her, the way she is anxious to see him. Also, there are times when she has timed the evening meal just so he will smell food when he walks in the door.... then he disappoints her by not coming home at that time. Mostly, it's a matter of trying to set a happy medium, a nice balance between two people. The good news is that, with time and patience, that balance will be found. In a marriage, both of you have to give more than 50%. Sit down and reach an agreement about these things. If she knows when you will not be around, then she can plan her own activities for that time too. The space will do you good.... both of you.... but it has to be mutually agreed upon. Otherwise, she feels deserted. Hope this helps.

First off I think you need to understand the female species. We are the nurturing, and mothering type. Most of us are emotinal, and need to be needed. Small things to you, big things to us. Alot of time a woman probably has left a bad prior relationship, and is afraid to trust too much. There is nothing wrong with hanging out with the guys, but some of you take advantage of the situation. I don't know what your age is but building a relationship takes time, and when you get to that point you'll know it. I'm a woman , and am on my third marriage. It took me this long to find the perfect mate, and I am content. Hopefully this won't happen to you. Just listen, agree, and then do what you want. All we women want is an ear to listen to us, and a few compliments. Lighten up, and give your girl more attention.

I don't know, dude, why women are so tough on men. You have every right to go drinking with your buddies and if your girl doesn't appreciate you going to the gym from time to time, well, I just don't see how she wouldn't appreciate that.

Women should be less tough on men. You can't blame a man for being a man, but men should do the same with women and realize that you can't blame a woman for being a woman.

Well I'm not tough at all. I don't care if my boyfriend goes to the gym or goes to the pub to have drinks with his mates. I think it's only fair that if I do my own thing that he does his own thing too!

As for giving him a hard time I only give him a hard time if he gives me a hard time ;) It takes two to tango you know!

I know some girls act like this... they just need to see things from the man's point of view.

Anyway, you need to get out more and you will see their are plenty of girls out there who can your lover but also be a friend at the same time :)

As long as you're consistent. Don't be one person when you start dating, calling and being together everyday, and then think once everything settles down you can go out every other night. As long as you were doing it from the get go, the girl should see it coming and have no problem with it.

Then again, that may make just a little too much sense or none at all.

No, i dont think that is true.. I would still say there are still some women who understand that guys should still go out with their friends and have some time for themselves. I dont think there is anything wrong with that. Guys just dont have to overdo it. Of course, there is always a limitation in everything.

As a female I could pose the question " why are men so tough on women?" I believe that there are shady players on both sides of the spectrum. It's these lame *** people that make it rough for everyone else whose trying to have a decent relationship, or trust anyone. I feel ya!!!

from my experiance I didn't care what he did as long as he was honest. not only that but from experiance why is it that the guy seems to do what ever they want but if she does it ,all hell breaks lose? I'm from the country and where i live doing your own thing is the key to arelationship, go out have fun, do your thing and when you get home in the morning sit and laugh together about your night over coffee!!!!!!!

reality my friend...yes, most women enjoy giving men a rough way to go. too bad and so sad. men are God's gift to women and women have no respect for it. a man should go to the gym or spend time with buds, as long as they come home and dig us.
if your ol' lady don't treat you right, tell her there's women like me who do treat guys like kings.

I don't really mind what he does with his friends as long as he doesn't take advantage of the situation. I like to do things with my friends too...arrange to have drinks with the guys on her girls night out. It makes for a healthy and happy relationship. If she keeps bitching you should look for a new girlfriend.
