My husband is watching wrestling on the USA channel right now. Personally, I think this is some of the dumbest stuff on TV. Why is this so popular? Even my husband can't answer why he MUST watch it every Monday?!

My husband is watching the same thing he watches it faithfully every week. I think its a testosterone thing or a fantasy thing. they want to either be buff like the wrestlers or fantisize about the divas.

It's a very exciting show that knows how to work your heartstrings at times. It plays on the notion that everyone wants the good guy or the underdog to win. The choreography is great and this is vital for the entire show. There are times in a match where a 5'10 guy is pitted against 2 guys who are like 6'5 in a match. In the main event, the underdog has like 7 or 8 close oppertunities to defy the odds. He could be 1 second away from a win but the other guy gets up or he could be hit on the head with a chair, fall down for a 2 count and miraculasly lift his arms up to continue the match. As each minute of the match progresses, so does the viewer's hope that the underdogg or good guy will win. It's this excitment and feeling of false hope at times which keeps us fans glued to the seat. Plus the atmoshphere is loud and action pact, and some of the songs these wrestlers come out to can really make someone's heart beat really fast too. Like when Hulk Hogan comes out. His song symbolizes what the sport is all about. Showmanship and the American Dream.

Why s it the dumbest stuff on TV? WHat shows do you watch? It is no different than a soap opera. He likes to watch what he likes.

I use to not like it neither until i got married. My husband was into watching wrestling ever time it come on; now i even watch it, it's entrainment and i get to spend time with my husband.Once you start to watch it you could get into it ;but i don't watch it all the time like he does.

Don't watch WWF is so stupid because it's fake. He should watch the real wrestling al least it's not fake.

Guys like fighting. Simple as that.
Try watching it for laughs sometimes.
My boyfriend says you should recommend UFC to your husband. I have to admit, it's more interesting and less fake.

its addicting and fun to watch
its just entertainment even though its scripted
kinda like how women watch sohows like the OC. Thats scripted you know as well.

if you don't like don't worry about it, it's entertainment and i always watch it, it's not just boring wrestling it's entertaining with a story to every match between the wrestlers and **** you if you think it's dumb
