I want better ringtones but I dont have the money to buy them. I've tried searching before, but when i went to a site that seemed promising, i had to sign up with other offers that cost between $20-$500, so needless to say I didnt find what I was looking for. If you know of a place i can get ringtones without going through all that, I'd much appreciate it.

I've been using this site for long time and it is real FREE. You can upload your music files or pictures and later you can send it to your phone. They convert music files in ringtones. It is a cool site. Also, you can search for an specific song that another person already upload to the site. And the best, you don't need any equipment. They support most of carriers.

There was a site with a name like www.handphone.com or www.handphones.net (or handphone.net). It was there for quite a while, and I got some free ringtones from it over the course of a couple of years. I just tried now to find it, but I can't seem to find it for you. The ringtones were absolutely free with no anything attached. They were, however, somewhat limited. Still, the site offered a little something for everyone. Maybe somebody else knows exactly whether its handphone or phones or whether its .com or .net. Maybe, too, the site has changed. It was good, though. I used it a couple of months ago.

Go to a electronics store and look for a software for ringtones. You can make your own without paying anything. Its the best thing to do. you might spend the most is 20 dollars for the program buts its worth it.

There are limited ring tones you can get for free. There is no REAL free ringtone site. All of them are like 9.99/ month or at least 1.99/ringer. Best bet and to get the best quality ringers, download them from your phone itself and your service (aka verizon, sprint, alltell) provider.
