I hadn't noticed that but it's common that companies will buy URLs that are common misspellings so if people accidentally make a typo, they'll still be taken to the site. It's clever!

the reason why is because they registered that domain name. people mispell words. so if they mispell myspace to myspaec, they will get the same page instead of a blank one. its actually courteous. like if u went to www.yahoo.com and u accidentally typed. www.yaho.com.

Usually these companies grab up urls that are their main urls mispelled. That way they don't lose business.
