okay............. Almost all of you are wrong. My whole family is made up of hicks and rednecks.................

Well believe it or not I dont give a rats azz, but there happen to be some very good ppl in the south, so go to he-- to all that criticize us. You have your head so far up your **** it isnt funny at all.

Hmm, I'd say hicks are the cow milkin' overall wearing' field plowin' people who live in the middle of nowhere, rednecks are the type of people that hunt, drive huge trucks, go mudding, etc. and Hillbillies are the ones who live up in the Appalacians isolated from society and have very little education and technology. That's just what I associate with the words though

though the south you have rednecks,stump jumpers,hicks and coonasses. all pretty much the same,there all good people and proud. and i see by all the anwsers,there must be alot of damn yankees in here!
