The women in my family actually are decent dressers. Not even a cleavage. Why do people assume all women dress like the aforementioned slut?

Silly. Girls nowadays go places wearing a skimpy bikini and nothing else, clearly inviting boys to get at it.

Why don't you put a chocolate cake in front of someone who's on a diet and arrest them if they try to eat it?

This is beyond offensive. Firstly, I'll let you know right off that I'm a guy so you don't think I'm just trying to further my agenda.

A rape is never the victim's fault. The victim may have been able to prevent the rape had she behaved differently, but that really isn't the point. Society holds a double standard—men may do as they please, women must take care not to excite the men.

Your comparison of a rape victim to chocolate cake is absolutely appalling. Such objectification of women is absolutely impermissible. A woman is no less of a person than you (my personal distaste for you actually leads me to think that she's more of a person than you).

It is absolutely ridiculous to suggest that a woman walking down the street in a miniskirt, a skimpy top, and five-inch heels is asking to be raped. You might as well suggest that a man walking down the street wearing an Armani suit and a Rolex on his wrist is asking to be robbed.

I honestly hope you don't get any sex. If there are any women in the world who would stoop to having sex with such a misogynistic nosebleed as you are, that really saddens me as to the state of the world.

How can you blame a rape victim? There are no invitations for men to rape women, despite your ignorant and illogical thoughts on such. If you were raped by another man, could I blame you for what you were wearing? How would that feel, to have your rights and body violated, and then tell you it is all your own fault because of what you were wearing? Maybe this should happen to you so you better understand the problem with BLAMING THE VICTIM one of the most common types of FALLACIES.
You are an ignorant jerk.

So, you are trying to say that girls/women are being 'asked' to be raped because of how they dress? NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE asks to be raped. And NO ONE has the right to put their hands on someone else without the persons permission no matter how that person is dressed. Period. Girls/women dress the way they do because it is comfortable to them. And if they are skinny enough to wear these things, then all the more power to them.

Would you blame a child, even an innocent 2 or 3 year old, for being molested? They don't know ANYTHING about sex, trying to get it, etc. It is the abusers fault for ALL of it. And the same goes for rape. Rape is about power and control, NOT sex or intimacy. It doesn't matter how a woman dresses. An abuser will abuse anyone in his path that he thinks will be an easy target to attack, drag off somewhere, and rape. Or he will get into someones house and rape them. It is the abusers/perverts fault for this, NOT the victims. They did NOT ask to have someone grab them or come into their home to rape them.

ANYONE is liable to get raped at any time. Even the women in your household could be raped just by sleeping in their own homes or walking outside, even if they are covered up. It is what goes on in the sickos head that makes him attack and rape someonel.

What about the women who go on dates and get raped? It happened to me. I was NOT wearing anything skimpy (I have been overweight since I was about 13 years old so those things don't look good on me, so I don't wear them), I wasn't drinking, I wasn't ';leading him on,' etc. So, did I 'ask' to be raped? NO!! HE is the one that chose to rape me. HE is the one that chose to be on a power and control trip and do what he did.

I truly hope that you get the correct information from the correct sources before making such assumptions again. Go to a rape victims counselor and get the information that they have so you will know more. In the meantime, I hope and pray that NO woman gets with you to have sex. Otherwise, I am afrtaid that you will blame her if she gets raped or something else happens to her. I totally feel sorry for ANY woman that would get together with you.

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. Anyone who would blame a woman for getting raped because of how she is dressed is as much a pervert and sicko as the one who rapes and abuses others.

You must look at the entire picture before you judge. No one that is raped is at fault; just as a gun doesn't kill anyone. People kill people and monsters rape victims. I was molested when I was 12. Was it my fault - no, did I do some stupid stuff that contributed - yes!

If I didn't walk into the apartment to "help" the dude he could not have done anything to me. If you dress in sack cloth you have less of a chance to get raped than a girl that dresses in the short skirt and push up bra.

Look at the real averages - octogenarians and fat chicks are raped less than others. Usually it is someone that you have gone out with and started to fool around with and then you say stop! Date rape is rape, but I am personally tired of the people out there not taking any responsibility for their own actions.

OK, guys; let the damnable PC police leave the room and admit that if you have a girl in the room in a nun's habit or a girl in a bikini - which will you be looking at? I know it is wrong, but damnit put a robe on.

Guys look at girls, it isn't right to rape, but the percentage of rapes that occur by an unknown assailant is infinitesimal compared to the rapes that occur from someone they know.

They were attracted for a reason. Don't dress like a s_l_u_t and you will not be treated like one. Freaks are out there - don't run against the numbers.

See, it is because you are a misogynist.

Babies get raped. Old people get raped. Women of all ages get raped.

All of those people get raped by men.

It does not matter what a woman wears or acts like. The man is the rapist. He is to blame. Understand?

Do not blame the victim.

It's true, Germaine Greer was right...women don't know how much men hate us.

You are grossly wrong in your perceptions. Dress has nothing to do with it, it has to do with violence, and the feel of power. Just march your happy @$$ to a rape recovery meeting, or local E.R. and ask if you don't believe me. I'd like to see you tell an elderly woman, or a little girl she "had it coming". You need you @$$ kicked for even insinuating that kind of BS here.

Don't blame a woman for getting raped. Women don't have to dress a certain way to get raped. It's the perp's fault, not theirs. Children get raped too, are you going to blame them??? It's not about how you dress, and it's not about how you look. Rape has nothing to do with sex, you should know that. It's about power/control. The sicho's out there are not looking for intimacy, they are looking for someone to hurt not to please. Your women in your family are at risk just as well. I hope they never get raped!

- Is a white man walking through Harlem with a "white power" shirt asking for trouble? Yes, but that doesn't justify a black man for assaulting him soleley for wearing such a shirt.

- Is a child knowingly chatting with adults online asking for trouble? Yes, but that doesn't justify any man ubducting and sexually assaulting him.

- Is a girl dressing like a whore asking for sexual attention. Yes, but that doesn't justify a man forcing himself in her.
