I just bought a record player and am dying for some good music to listen to!

Not too sure about the Boston area, but can you get to Bonneville Flats? There's quite a few records there, some old, some new.

You don't mention what type of music you are looking for so the best I can do is point you to a mailing list that deals in dance music. There are usually DJs on the list and more than a few of them will know the local spots to find any type of music. Go to this link and you'll find a link to a mailing list. It's a Yahoo Group which works out well.

Try a record store it has to be a place in Boston that sells records their is a place in Philadelphia.
