I date a woman who likes NASCAR and talks about how hot the guys are? Am I wrong to be offended?

I dont think you should be offended because at the end of the night she is with you and no one else right!?!. They are celebrities and its a small chance she will ever get to personally meet any of the guys. Now if it bothers you then yea you should mention it to her, but if you think about it you are thinking about other hot girls yourself you are just not open about it to her. She speaks her mind you dont. Its human nature you will always check out the cutie passing by even if you are the most faithful person. we are human. I tell my b/f how hot i think Tony Stewart is all the time. I even told him I have a HUGE crush on him. He didnt get mad because he know its a crush and i love him (my boyfriend) and no one else. Anyways every person is different. But that you should worry about it, i dont think so.

She is right, however, you have a right to be offended! In relationships there will always be looking! When it comes to making comments, well especially with someone famous, it's a little easier because odds are the person doesn't stand a chance!

It all depends on your relationship! My boyfriend knows I think the guys are hot, he gets jealous from time to time, but I have to hear it too about actresses or singers! You could talk about the swimsuit models, but remember two wrongs don't make a right! You should just sit down and tell her it bothers you, ask her to limit what she says and ask her how she would feel if you did mention models or what not!

Good luck, just don't try to "change" her too much!

My husband and I actually had a conversation about this the other day. He wanted to know if I could be with someone famous who would it be.....and I asked him. Like it's ever gonna happen....lmao

We were walking in the parking lot somewhere I was about 15, and he said how beautiful a woman was. I was of course offended on my Mother's behalf...and that is when he said the above to me.
It is human nature. Go ahead and talk about those swimsuit models. If she doesn't like it, it will be a good lead into your issues with her infatuation with the NASCAR drivers.

now this is kind of a touchy subject. first, does she like the drivers b/c they can drive..or is he sll about the yumminess of a driver?? b/c you say she's into nascar..well truly being into nascar entails actually liking the sport. so don't let her get away with being a fan strictly for looking at the driver's she thinks are meat..

with that being said.. i have always had this theory taht people will look. men will look at scantily clad women in magazines..., and woman will look at whatever floats their boat.. i don't realkly think there is anything wrong with that.. i mean, i'm honest.. i will openly admit a beauty of God's work when i see it.. my husband knew it when i married him..
but it's not like i dream of them or picture them when we're together.. you know just an i'll openly admit..yeah, he's hot.. type of thing, and i have no problem with him looking at famous woman.. i mean, heck, i'm the one taht sent playboy, fhm, and maxim to him downrange.. looking is innocent and natural human instinct..but when it seems to consume one it turns into an unhealthy, hurtful situation..
however, if she is talking about it constantly and it is starting to bother you than yeah, you do need to talk to her about it.. b/c well, she won't know unless you tell her. you're right..most woman aren't too crazy about guys saying that a super model is hot or whatnot.. so talk to her about it, but try to be gentle..b/c she probably doesn't raelize exactly what she's doing and why it bothers you.. ya know?? and well, if you don't get your point acrossed than i'd have to say use the two wrongs situation.. she'll see how good it doesn't feel.

However, I think that her interest in NASCAR drivers is completely benign. They're celebrity figures, much like the swimsuit models you mentioned, and she admires their physical attributes. YOU'RE the one she's dating, so have a little confidence in that.

Probably,she is with you, right? Not them. If it bothers you, tell her. Then she will realize her man is insecure and go find a nascar driver of her own. Does your pickup truck have a lift kit and 44 inch mudder tires? If you said no, you'll be just fine.
