I'm kind of picky about who I hang out with because I have a hard time trusting people. What do you think about having a few close friends, rather than having tons of friends? Is that normal?

you are the luckiest girl in the world. all you need is one good friend. it seems to me you have a good head on your shoulders and you do not fall for peer pressure. kudos to you!

If you have just 2-3 friends, you can more than likely have more fun and they will be closer to you. I can understand the trust thing 100%, I have been used a lot. Now I am by myself, well I live here with mom and dad, but I am living by my self and have zero people that I can call my friends, except for the few that I have on the net. But as far as people that I can go do things with, zero. You are smart to do it the way you are doing it.

yeah that is normal. i have lots of friends, but only a few close ones.

yea i think thatz normal....i just got one bestfriend thatz it....that normal just do ur thing....
