Man being the biggest fan i'm fit to answer this question. Jimi Hendrix was a great legend. First I will tackle his songwriting. He would write about anything and used his writing to express every emotion and tell beautiful stories. He wrote of love,freedom and spirtual height that he tried to reach. Now guitar wow his guitar offend took the form of words and express more then sound but true feeling and his voice back that up with this beautiful tone

I'm in the bucket on this one! Jimi Hendrix was definitely one of the best guitarists and performers (also Janis Joplin - both of them together was a POWERHOUSE!!!!!) the world has ever seen. Long live the music of the great artists and performers of true music.
