I have 2 Jewel Fish, a Blue Terror, and a Florida Gar....i've been having them for like 5 months already. I see many people asking questions about their male/female fish....How do they know this?? I have no clue if any of my fish are male or female...how can i tell???

Blue terror male should have a hump and is brighter color than its female counterpart ;got red fringes on its tail.
As for Gar, female is larger than the male. You can only compare when you saw it in the aqua shop with a few to select.

you can tell by the color if one is darker than the other, must of the time the male fish is prettier than the female.

most of the time male fish are more colorful and sometimes you can tell if they have a pectoral fin and sometimes you cant tell hope this helps
