Most minorities are not able to get good job's and make good money because sadly we live in a very racest country. It all starts from childhood on. They go to poor schools and dont get a good education and mostly what they learn is on the street's and that's never anything good.Minorities that do make it in this world must work alot harder then most of us and sadly they are still looked down on.So they turn to drugs and selling drugs because its a way to make money and thats where profileing comes into play so think about it, if you see a minority walking down the street, whats the first thing that comes to mind? Would good employers accept these people? Would someone rent or give them a loan for a house in a nice neighborhood? Would the better schools really accept these people? I would venture to say no, so they take what they can get and survive the best way they can and dont forget that the kid's are brought up like this so thats the only life they know so that's how they are when they are older.

I have never lived in a slum, but I know people who do of all races. There are poor people who work hard and make little money. They can afford to live in places where owners do not prioritize maintenance and where crooks and thugs freely roam the neighborhood. To the person who said something about the ease of getting crack, you are a thoughtless and hateful creature.

I wouldn't use minorites, there are immigrants that come here and start over and they are the ones that live in what you call a slum, and most aren't Black or Brown

Those aren't the minorities. Those are the poor minorities. Some of the poor majority live there too.

Capitalism promotes the segragation of people. Minorities and poor to one side and rich to the other. The elite keep clutching to power disenfranchising the masses

Maybe compared to what they were living in, its not slums. Maybe they are living in what they think is splendor.

Because most of them immigrated here and have to st art a new life, therefore they don't have much going yet in terms of finance.
