I had wood laminent flooring put in 3 years ago. This summer spaces have started appearing between several of the panels. I cant seem to figure out why this happening. We've had over a week over very hot weather, 110 and over, so could this be a factor?? If so when it gets cool, will the panels expand back? Of course our warranty expired so we cant have it fixed for free. Thank you.

In case this matters, the panels are the kind that snap into place. They dont' seem to be loose. I've tried moving them and they don't budge.

I doubt very lots if the timber floor Mfr. would ever advise any cleaners containing water. Water is a detriment to timber flooring. Use a bruce floor cleanser or comparable product. i take advantage of bruce because of fact my flooring occurs to be Bruce. only vacuum and take a sparkling white fabric sprayed with the cleanser and wipe the floor. I choose doing it on my palms and knees yet you need to use like a sponge mop wrapping the fabric around it to avert kneeling.
