My lover & I have been together over 30 years. He is easy to get along with, I guess I am too. We are friends, we enjoy each others company, we love traveling together, our politics are virtually identical, he appreciates my humor and I appreciate his. He has basketball, I have surfing. He has his profession and I have mine. I sincerely admire him, I guess he admires me too. I feel incredibly lucky to have him for a lover, and to have had this relationship. There have been some dark times, but those only brought us closer together.
