hezbollah uses the lebanese citizens as human shields and they still support them. im not syaing they have to support israel but why support a group that uses its own people as death shields . That just proves how cowardly hezbollah is yet the world only talks about how brutal israel is. I support Israel 100 percent its their right to attack if they are attacked first. Hezbollah is getting what it deserves and israel should do what the u.s. did and invade

What do you mean by "support"?

A lot of Americans believe that Southerners many years ago "supported" the Ku Klux Klan or that Italian neighborhoods "supported" the Mafia.

But if there is a terrorist group operating in your neighborhood and you don't know who is in it and who is not but you DO know that they kill people... well then you probably keep your mouth shut about a lot of things. But is that really "support"?

I Support Israel defending itself 1st off. As for the Lebanese people supporting Hezbollah. I'm honestly not sure there is a whole lot they can do to remove them. Lebanon doesn't have anything resembling a military there government is corrupt. And I can honestly say if I was one of those people stuck there for whatever the reason and I lost a family member to an Israeli bomb. I can actually see me taking up arms against them for revenge. So as I stated earlier I do Support 100% Isreal's defending itself. However I honestly don't believe even there military might will end the violence there. These bombings will simply inspire more terriost. Thats the biggest problem with fighting terriost. You can't negotiate with them and if you battle them militarily it only breeds more terriost. Dammed if you do Dammed if you don't.

We don't know that the majority of the Lebanese support Hezbollah. I Israel should have taken a poll and checked IDs before they started defending themselves.

From what I understand, Hezbollah has a lot of organizations inside Lebanon that support the community, it's a political entitiy in of itself. They run hospitals that provide birth to death insurance, and own most of the grocery stores and movie theatres and even taxi companies. It appears that by being needed by the citizens of Lebanon, Hezbollah has the sympathy of the people, and therefore some think that they need to defend it.

I completely disagree and sympathize with you for your blatant ignorance. Hezbollah is not the terrorist regime that you were taught to believe. It is a political party that is represented in Lebanese Parliament. They helped in liberating the Lebanese occupied territories. They build schools and help the population of Lebanon. The US and Israel labels them terrorists simply because they pose a threat. They are freedom fighters. The people stand by them because they believe in their cause. Do some research, the terrorists are the Israeli Zionist regime and those who financially support them (USA).

Well, they don't talk about how Isreal goes into towns in Southern Lebanon and Gaza to "detain" all the possible "terrorists" and has about 10,000 in their prisons including women/children and that those are the people Hizbollah try to get released with Isreali "hostages". Isreal was just getting sick of it and the GOP was with it because it scares America right before the elections and distracts them from Iraq/Afghanistan. Hizbollah has come out of this the heros of the arab world because every one of them knows Abu Gahrab/Haditha/Qana could be them. Can you even imagine what it would be like to be an arab in that part of the world? I think this is all gonna backfire real bad though.

How do you know the majority opinion of Lebanese citizens? Have you been there? Are you Lebanese? Do you run a major polling company?

IF not, quit spreading disinformation and go back to watching Fox news.

I live in cananda and I promise if radicals from our nation starting shooting rockets accross the border we would be invaded within hours...that being said I feel they should have given more time for the innocent civilians to leave to northern parts of the country for safety.
