Yes, I do. He brought down the iron curtain; he lowered taxes; improved the economy; wasted no time in defendiing our country. He improved our military force after the former administration almost ruined it with budget cuts. Yes, the budget increased under Reagan but this was only because he had a lot of ground to make up. He rebuilt out military might and introduced star wars. Since that time our missle defense system that is now set in place has improved and continues to do so. I believe that Ronald Reagan was one of the best presidents, if not the best, this country has ever had. This is my opinion.

No, but he was infinitely better than George W Bush is. I still harbor feelings of resentment for "Ronnie" because as governor of California he let loose all of the looney tunes by cutting aid to the state mental hospital. It only served to increase the homeless problem here. I've done some volunteer work at churches and the majority of homeless people who show up to get fed are certifiably crazy and have been on the streets since Reagan's days.

Not only was he a good president, but he was the best since FDR. He was the type of president who brought change to the world. He fixed many of the diplomatic problems Carter had created in the middle east and Russia. Also, reganomics helped business flourish durning his term in office and it created thousands of jobs. Everybody complains about his deficit, but a deficit does not really affect Americans like people think. The deficit will always fix itself as new booms in the economy happen. This was shown in the 1990s under clinton, who was just really lucky to silicon valley boom during his term in office. Reagan was just a great american and a great leader

He was a horrible president that should have been sent to prison for his dealing with the Iran Contra in exchange for weapons in exchange for hostage relief so that he could be elected president in 1980.

His trickle down economics tanked the economy and put us into a recession.

He also declared 'lame duck' in 1984 because he was unable to pass any of his agenda and was terribly ineffective.

He was a good speaker. That is all. And to most of America who has a low low low IQ, therefore they think that makes him a great president. Go figure.

Yes Ronald Reagan was a very good president. He brought us out of the funk that Jimmy Carter put us in.

You're kidding, right?

Reagan, the man who believed his own PR?

Ronnie, the guy who destroyed California with the original neocon agenda, then went on to let his friends do the same to the US?

The 'gipper' who oversaw arms for hostages, iran contra, turned tail when the Marines were bombed in Beirut (why we have problems to this very day), and invaded little defenseless Grenada to divert our attention?

'Bedtime for Bonzo' star and grade 'B' actor who carried same all the way into early Alzheimer's while his wife ran the WH with astrology?

Aw, sure he was a good president--of the SAG.

Yes. In fact, he was great. He had clear opinions and did not try to do every job in government, but made the decisions and let other people get the job done. In addition, he communicated well with the people, and inspired them to do better. Also, if you had ever met him, you would have agreed. Neither Bush nor Clinton can compare to him.

George Bush Sr. was President for five terms. During Reagan's administration, his own, and now his son's!!!

J/K, He might have gotten away with a good presidency if it had not been for the Iran/Contra scandal. That's what makes me not like him.
