Just be straight up honest with her and tell her how you are feeling. As for her being a lesbian, if she is she'll come out when she's ready, but you should mention it if you are okay with it, so she knows she has someones support. If I had known one of my friends would have been supportive of my sexuality no matter what, I would have come out a lot sooner.

No, younger girls like to copy people they look up to, or strive to be like (whether good or bad). They haven't found out who they are yet, and so they try to be like someone else who they view as 'cool'. They'll stop eventually. You can approach this friend and tell her that you've noticed she's trying to be alot like that other girl, and let her know that she was a really great person on her own, when she was just acting like herself.
