who thinks ECW is a failure .?

I think ecw is a failure cuz when it first came back with one night stand and rvd winning the title i thought ecw was here to stay for the next few years but after 3 months this is what has happened rvd lossing his title to of all people to lose to big show instead of sandman or another ecw original instead of a guy who is new and came from wwe cuz they didnt have anywhere for big show to go and he isnt really the face of ecw and heres a big reason why its a failure is each week they have a wwe talent come over and lose his match with big show instead of an ecw original like sabu or sandman. they have regular & "extreme rules" matches(back in ecw heyday would u imagine someone getin DQ didnt think so). When wrestlers cut promos they dont cut them like they used to they do them like they do in the wwe, each week they start with some blonde bombshall "tease" stripe cuz she is never gonna reveal herself on public wwe tv and then paul heyman wwe cut his job after a week and took over ecw.

This new Ecw under vince mcmahon is garbage. The only ones being pushed is guys he already had under contract like Big Show Kurt Angle & that useless test & Mike Knox(Ovw). How am i supposed to take the Ecw Title seriously when the challengers are from the Raw & Smackdown brands & not from their own Ecw brand?

Ok ill do this ONCE so re-read if you dont get it. IF you expected the new ecw to be EC FN W....you are sad and need to stop watching wrestling because you dont GET it yet. Vince bought EVERYONE out. His money was in ECW back during the "Monday Night War" like a superpower funding terrorists, so his eventual takeover was a forgone conclusion. Tod Gordon started Eastern Championship Wrestling and with Paul Heyman made it Extreme. Vince wont even tape ONE tv episode at the "Bingo Hall" because HIS people cant work in THOSE conditions. This is a COMPLETELY different animal than what grew up in Philly my friends. Like it or not...I AGREE with EVERY point made in the question....so dont consider this so much of an answer, think of it as an explination. Yes VINCE finally listened to guys like Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman and RVD. He brought "ECW" back, but on HIS terms. THESE are HIS terms. Give them time to do something or not. Up to you, but do so at your own peril. Vince isnt a STUPID man.

It's the highest rated program on the sci-fi channel (maybe second highest now) and it has been renewed, so I wouldn't call it a failure. It is not as good as the old ECW by any means, but it is wrestling... how can people love RAW and Smackdown, but hate ECW? It in the third brand of WWE, if they had named it anything besides ECW, you would love it. Things change, get over it.

I agree, but im going to give ECW time. Hell if you ask me I wouldnt be surprised if once Heymans made enough money from this he leaves WWE and restarts ECW with its original talent under a new name.

well it looks to me that you already think it's a failure. what's wrong is they put it on tv before they had enough of the original wrestlers sign on. plus noone expected rvd to get arrested.he was carrying the whole show himself.if they were gonna use wwestars they should have used the ones who came from ecw,only there are too few to choose from----------------that'''s why it'sonly an hour long show.

I watch ECW. There are very talented people there, but I think Raw and Smackdown are enough for the WWE. What's next a 4th brand extension??? honestly..........

wwe is a failure overall. its not any good since they dont have to compete for ratings with wcw. the old ecw was good with all matches being extreme rules instead of just one on occasion.

the new ECW sucks and i'd rather be watching old ECW reruns than this and it's wwe that's taking over ECW and Vince already has his own wrestling show so just let this one go
