Well, here's someone who will tell you that there's no such thing as gay or straight. It would be -more- accurate (though still not ideal) to say that everyone is bisexual.
Too many people look at the words gay, straight, and bi and interpret them rigidly: A gay guy will 100% of the time like guys, and 0% of the time like girls. A bi guy will 50% of the time like guys, and 50% of the time like girls (or as some people view it, like guys and girls both 100% of the time, carrying on with both sexes simultaneously). A straight guy will 100% of the time like girls and 0% of the time like guys. This is simply ridiculous! It's obviously perfectly possible for a guy to like -mostly- other guys, but to also occasionally like a girl.
I just think the concept of sexual orientation needs to entirely die. Some people like mostly girls, some people like mostly guys, and some people are fortunate enough to just like other people regardless of what they've got between their legs or what they might have on their chest. I don't think it really ought to be a big deal. I'm mostly gay, I guess (I call myself queer just to avoid the word "gay"), but I have dated a girl. My ideal match would be a guy—but there are certainly girls I could date who would be much better than a -lot- of guys.
Some people are bi for attention, yes. It's somewhat fashionable in middle school and high school for girls to be bi. *shrug*

I think the majority of people on this planet could go either way given the right situation. I read that like 98% of people fall somewhere on the bisexual spectrum. That doesn't mean that they all act on it.
I used to live with a gay guy. We were walking downtown once when this totally hot chick dressed in this totally too-tight black outfit struted by. We both turned to check her out. Gay man and straight woman. And then we stopped, looked at eachother and asked who was gay and who was straight.

This question is asked and answered very often. Do a seach and you will see tons of replys.
Yes, there are really bisexuals.
If you think they are not real then try talking to one. She will put you in your place.
A good site from the Human Rights Campaign tell about some of the myths bisexuals have to deal with and the truth:

Bi-sexuality is all a query of definition. in spite of intercourse all of us have attractions that style the inspiration of maximum folk of our kinfolk. How a approaches we take those relationships and the limitations we set for 'platonic' to 'warm' relationships are how we label our kinfolk. there are lots of purple blooded adult males who've very close relationships with adult males, yet they could be mortified with any advice this is something different than platonic. So the place is that boundary and how that's defined is the place the bi-sexuality comes into it. For me? i will see popularity in women even style close relationships, yet that spark or connection which defines the version between close friendship and intimate dating has on no account got here approximately. as a result i wouldn't in any respect evaluate myself bi-sexual, by an identical token i do no longer decrease value the prospect it ought to happen it merely hasn't yet, even though it has with an identical intercourse! as a bring about answer on your question the flair for bi-sexuality lies in all individuals - in basic terms some individuals are greater open to it than others and (reckoning on our very own reviews) greater comfortable with wearing that distinctive label.

Yes there is such a thing as bisexuality. there's also pansexuality (which is pretty much bisexuality, but pansexuals will do hermaphrodites too) and asexuality (not sexually attracted to either gender at all).

Yeah, I think for girls, a lot of them claim to be bisexual because it tends to turn on guys. But I know a lot of people are genuinely bisexual (because I am).

I think they are smarter than they act...check this out, if your bi, you go both ways..but women love gay guys, so by playing the bi card women hang out with you and you still have chance with them. its a great a way to get women if you ask me, they are either genius or sick bastards.
