i wanna be a disney channel actress when i grow up, but i got no support. my parents dont know i like acting. can u help? im 12 and live in maryland

You could tell you parents... But really, why Disney channel? I mean, sure it's glamorous and you're on television, but the acting isn't really great. Shoot for more sophisticated roles, maybe in independent films, or even just Disney movies that aren't made for TV. Disney channel scripts kinda suck. (Sorry, Disney channel people. Just being honest.)

Acting is a VERY DIFFICULT thing to break into. First, you need to try out for community plays and that type of thing. Perhaps school plays, too. That business is all about connections. Get into local theater first before you worry about Disney.

Study acting for the next 12 years, then, convieince your family to move to Los Angeles, so you can get an agent and go on auditions. Do as much acting on stage in your hometown, so you can build-up your acting resume, with lots of work.

It's easy to work for disney... you just get on the bus and go there. Once you get to the gates you just tell them the password and they have to let you in... it's the law.
