Of course, I asked the friend how she figured out the number, but she does not disclose the method she used to figured out the number; would anyone tell me how she did it?

I recently move to a new place and got a new number. I never called to her with this number.

Background check. For $15-$99 you can get various info. One place to start is with searchbug.com

except for the obvious (checking her caller ID in the event that you called her first) either she looked at the unpublished #'s list or maybe she asked a mutual friend, or could have even called a relative of yours, sometimes co-workers will give out the info if they think it is pertinant. I think that's kind of a deal breaker, do you feel comfortable with her doing soemthing so manipulative?

Did you call her and she has caller id? :-)
Is the number written somewhere and she saw it?
Does she know someone who works for a telecom company?
Maybe she paid one of those peoplesearch companies to run a background search on you.

She is weird in any event.
