So if we deport the liberal smurfs and only have private schools for Redpublican kids would that fix the problems.

I am so convinced that we should revoke the citizinship and deport all non Redpublican Americans.

If they are blue then run them through.

Go big Red Go

Personally I think we lost control of the schools when we banned corporal punishment. Nothing like the teachers standing up at the front of the class room at the beginning of each year showing off the new paddles they had made over the summer. Made ya think.
I've heard teacher talk about how unbelievably hard it is to get some of these rotten little ba$tards out of their class room. It's worse than trying to fire a government employee. I guess I am lucky that I don't have kids (except I still pay plenty of school taxes), but I would have to sue the school board if my child could not learn because of the conditions they are put in. I think the teachers need to somehow force the hands of parents that won't do anything about their child. I have 2 nephews in our local schools and I hear stories that would curl your hair. This is why the No child left behind program is a good start.

Porn has both pros and cons. You mention that you don't think it is right, but I question what do you mean by right? It is legal in the United States. In a way it is legal prostitution, the only difference is you are watching and now acting in the sexual acts. Second, porn is very addicting; stimulating parts of the brain, much like a video game and usually people watch porn more and more. It is a way to fulfill sexual fantasies without having to enter the "real" world. While this is both a good thing and a bad thing, most people let their guard down and feel safe, but there are stalkers out there. If you want my opinion, don't be pressured into watching it. It isn't for everyone. Some people watch it, others don't,

Maybe the state of the education system lies with the fact that education is not taken very seriously in the US. Education is underfunded. Teachers are literally kids right out of college, as opposed to the wizened men and women who believed in proper grammar and facts --- not like the soft and cuddly "everyone wins!" American Analytical System.

Maybe the reason private schools do so well is that when parents realize just how much they're paying for it, they set the tone at the top for their kids: "You better learn. You better study. Because your education is an investment in the rest of your life."

I imagine if under the heavy social spending that Liberals are famous for, you were to present each taxpaying parent with how much their kids' public school education was really costing them (you know, the big dent in that paycheque?), then they'd take it pretty seriously, too.

First off, if you're going to go off on how stupid Democrats are, and how intelligent you and your fellow Republicans are, you might want to run spell check and review basic 1st grade grammar. My only comfort is that you probably don't have the brains to occupy a position of power or authority. And how many kids do you know who are affiliated with either party? They're kids, let them have Nickelodeon for a while before beating them over the head with politics.

Unfortunately, education is just as bad in red states as blue. The problem is the unions that protect the incompetent and demand ever DECREASING standards, so there is less work for the teacher to do. High standards and lots of work would change the system.

Wow. You are distinctly political, aren't you? smiling. America has serious education worries, that is true. And the bandaids we use to fix the problems just don't work. It would take upwards of ten years to even begin to fully understand the mess we have here.

It's Oprah. Harpo spelled backwards. Unless you meant opera, but then what does an opera have to do with the American education system?

what does redpublican even mean?

Current system wont work with either party. Teachers arent held responsible.

Liberals want problems to remian so they can promise fixes and never provide.

Repubs claim gov't is thet problem but continue to support it.

After reading your question, I actually thought that you were going to say something intelligent about the issue that was addressed on the Oprah show. Now, I'm thinking you might be one of those illiterates that Oprah was talking about!

I agree whole heartedly with you, but you need to run your spell check. When you talk about school systems, and spell Oprah and Republican wrong, it doesn't look too good.
