I don't have a problem with them. My best friend ,who I've been friends with for almost 20 years, and my brother ,who will be 29, are both Leos. My best friend's birthday is today (July 31st) and my brother's birthday is August 2nd.

Leo's are loyal, this I have personally experienced. However, they can be very loud and always demand to be the centre of attention. They are forever seeking praise (accolades) and if they are not given this - then they sulk. They say they are not appreciated. I mean to say, one cannot constantly walk behind a Leo, praising them for the way they write a document, or the way they prepared that sandwich, or the way they got rid of the saleman at the front door! For heavens sake - what is their issue?
Why do they need constant praise? and especially the men of the species?
Yes, its nice to say 'what a great job you did there', but to have to keep talking about it - man there's a real problem happening.
They are supposedly extravegant! Yes this is somewhat true - but then, back to praise issue - 'look what I did'!! "look what I spent'... sometimes, it's just not worth the effort.
If you choose to do something, then do it. Please, this guy I know can be over the top!
I think they can be very selfish too. I mean, he just use to do what he wanted and never once did he fit me into the equasion. I was totally excluded from the picture and only wanted me when he was ready. Well, I'm happy to explain that this does not happen any more, as I had to take a stand. YES. We had a huge argument and now he always includes me.
I don;t think that they like true committment either. They like their show piece girlfriends to be there for them, but when it comes to a WEDDING!! WHAT? you wanna get married!!! Out of the question indeed. Im too good to commit to anything like this! Even though he's spent 12 years in a relationship and having a non-matromonial wife!
They can ve very detached souls. Anything that is directed at them being harsh or true they just walk away from. Is this called denial? I think so.

Having a Leo for a mother is both fun and scary.
She used to always have the most fun ideas for games; ill never forget Crocodile clothespin; she'd turn the lights off and chase us around the house with this clothespin that was painted green with those little googly eyes you can glue on.... it was so much fun.
But her punishments were pretty bad too... cause she was so damn creative. I remember the time that my siblings wouldnt go to bed; they wanted to dance... so she turned on some music and made them dance for a good half hour; it was so funny, but they were ready to go to bed. Or that time when my brother kept standing in the chairs and wouldnt stop, so she made him hold two full cups of water and stand on the chair.... on one leg. That sh!t was so funny. Or that time when my sister and I wouldnt get in the car... she drove down the road for about 3 minutes and then came back after my sister and I had started panicking...
so... living with a Leo is never boring... it's fun, if you dont mind a few scares along the way. Leo's are fun, clever, and you really really really dont want them mad at you.

I think that they are vry sure of themselves with blessed confidence. Usually they are very successful in the field they are in or things they do best. Although some sites proclaim leo as leaders but based on my observation , not all of them are. Some of leo guys are just a follower. The bad sideis that they sometimes are too determined- sometimes in accomplishing evil thoughts.

My husband is a Leo and my baby that's due Sunday will be a Leo. Love em! :) Just don't ever try to be right in an argument with one!

If you're birthday is this week, you are super-luckey, Leo! There will probaly be lots of fun surprices, at least one party, and a chnce to meet someone ( could be frind or crush ) who can is interested in helping you with some of your future plans, Your powers of charm and communication will be going full-blast by the wekend so get out there and have fun!
