first time. Obviously the passion of it all is driving him to drink, or he is simply driving himself to drink. I have always liked his persona in films, not so much off camera. Why hold a grudge for what happened 2000 years ago. Should he not just forget and move on with his life? Jesus did. Mad Max indeed.

The problem here is that most people accept as fact the silly notion that Crucifixion was a Roman device. However unbeknownst to lay folks, there exists a Gnostic tract called "The Gospel According to Max".
This long lost scripture points out that even though crucifixion was indeed an invention of Rome, they would (being benevolent occupiers) loan out crosses to the Sanhedrin on every other Friday. And based on this evidence, Saint Mel (scholar that he is), has correctly surmised that it really was the Jews fault after all.

Yeah... that must be it...

Mel Gibson is not mad about what happened 2000 years ago. Jesus is the savior. And Mel Gibson knows this, that's why he made a movie about him. That was an amazing movie. And it is not driving him to drink. 99.9% of movie stars drink. He made the mistake of having too much to drink then getting in the car. He knows what he did was wrong and he's sorry. So everyone just needs to forget about it and move on. He is not holding a grudge. That is just dumb to say he is. And Jesus died for our sins. So obviously he didn't have a life to move on with. I hate what happened to Jesus. I hate that he was put through all that pain. But I am so grateful that Jesus is so righteous that he did that for everyone. Even you. So why should we forget about the savior when he gave his life for us?

He works in Hollywood. I doubt it's all about what happened 2000 years ago. The Jews gave him a hard time about his last movie.

If Mel is going to get mad at the jews for killing jesus then he should also get mad at the italians for invading israel. It was roman culture that corrupted israel's leaders.
